Cosmic Ordering --- What Would You Like?

Cosmic ordering is part of the law of attraction. It is the bit where you visualise your wishes and ask the cosmos to grant them to you.

Barbara Mohl wrote a beautifully simple little book about the subject whch really resonated with me. In it she explains a time in her life when she was being made miserable by noisy neighbours. Instead of reacting in a predictable way, perhaps getting angry and shouting at them to shut up, Barbara used the cosmic ordering technique that she was practising at the time. Her book is called The Cosmic Ordering Service. This helped her remain calm, cool and collected, as she connected with her own wisest self for guidance on what to do. She asked the highest powers of the universe and all that is good to help her. She felt the peace of believing that her problem was being solved by the universe and that peace was being restored to her neighborhood. Just by asking the universe for what she wanted and believing it would be granted, she changed the predictable dynamics of the situation. Normally these situations just draw us into a tangle of conflict with others. She brought about a different outcome by stating her wish to the universe.

People often ask me how cosmic ordering can possibly work. Well this is how---just by practising it, you change things. You change yourself. You raise your own vibrational level to a higher, wiser level. You change how you react to others. You change your alignment with the energies of the universe, by being positive instead of negative about your problem. Thus, you put the Law of Attraction to work. You attract a postive result.

Cosmic ordering and the Law of Attraction, cause us to react in ways that are inspired by our highest selves, not by our angry, tetchy, instinctive selves.

This is one of the wonderful ways in which knowing this technique can free us from unhelpful patterns of behaviour, to create a space in which something better can come our way.

And it all worked out for Barbara Mohl because her neighbours stopped disturbing her! I intend to use this technique next time I encounter neighbour problems.

In Ireland, where I am from, placing symbols of our desires on special 'Wishing Trees' is an ancient, pre-Christian tradition that still lives on today. These trees are in holy places, associated with nature's energy, near sacred wells or rocks.

The custom is that you tie a rag, ribbon, or piece of your clothing around the branch of the tree and you spend a few quiet moments in that special place to send your wish to the universe. Your rag remains on the tree as a statement of your intention to attract whatever it is that you wanted into your life.

These trees are in hidden, secluded places throughout the countryside, places deemed sacred during Druidic times. When you come upon them, they are remarkable, strange atmospheric sights----trees with all their branches festooned with the wishes of humanity blowing in the wind.

I love the Wishing Trees and have several rags blowing in the breeze as I write! These little rituals help us to clarify and state what we want more clearly than just having a fuzzy idea in our heads. When we are clear about our desires, the universe can be clear about what it gives us. When we are sure and committed enough to state our intention in this formal way, it helps channel the energy of our wishes in a focussed way.
